Joel Comm (Adsense) and Aaron Wall (SEO) Interview Transcripts

Internet Marketer Jonathan Leger was gracious enough, as well as had the pleasure to interview two internet marketing "gurus" for all of his readers. Before the interviews, Jonathan asked his readers what they would like to ask of each of his interviewees, and responded accordingly. Best of all, after the interviews, Jonathan posted the transcripts to each on his blog for anyone who could not attend to read.

Here are the links to each of the transcripts, Thanks Mr. Leger!

Google has become the dominant search engine on the Internet. It would be hard to imagine a web without Google. For that matter, it would now be hard to imagine a world without Google. As frightening as that may seem to many people, it is none the less true. For better or worst, Google has permeated into almost every aspect of our everyday life. Being Googled is now a common expression and an act carried out by millions of users around the world each day.

New Google products and services are coming on stream at a frightening pace, further increasing Google's impact on our lives. Marketing tools which can prove extremely valuable to any webmaster or marketer trying to promote their sites or products online. Useful tools that will make your promotions easier and much more profitable.

Don't be fooled by the 'free' label, these marketing tools might be free but there are also valuable. One even wonders why Google would be giving away these tools and services for free? Good PR is good business. Every marketer and webmaster should be taking advantage of Google's good-will and snapping up these professionally run services and marketing tools.

Here's a quick run-down of the 10 most valuable free Google Internet marketing tools:

Froogle is Google's price directory! It simply lists all the cheapest prices for different products on the web. Follow Froogle or Google directions exactly on how to list or display products on your site. Froogle will spider your site and display your prices and products to thousands of targeted customers. That, as they say, is priceless. LINK

Make Alexa your own Personal Spy

In the quest for internet immortality with a top 10 Google Ranking for the top keywords for your site, many things must be accomplished. One of those many things is to get as many high quality and relevant in-coming links to your site as possible. Now this can be done in a number of ways. It can be done through joining link exchange services, personally contacting other sites to trade links, finding sites with an automated link trading system built in, or even paying for your links to be placed on popular sites. Now these can all work, but there is one very under-utilized method that anyone can use.

http://www.alexa.com

For those who don't know, alexa is THE website for traffic rankings and more for all websites online. If you would like to find out how popular a certain website is, just go to Alexa and type in the url. But alexa even goes beyond that. And this is where you can make alexa spy on the competition for you. First what you want to do is make a few searches for the top keywords in your market, and note the top websites that come up.

Now head on over to alexa and enter the url to see how well the website ranks in Alexa. Scroll down the page and find where it says "Other Sites that Link to this site:". This is where you will find the number of websites that are linking to the site you entered. Now just click on the number and it will show you each one of these sites that is linking to the site.

So now you have this list of potential sites to trade or submit your website link with. This is a huge way to search for potential linking partners, and is very simple. I urge you to give it a try. Bookmark my blog for more practical and useful marketing tips to come.

Yours in Success,
Jon
